Hand crafted in Indonesia with local teak wood. Teak wood is tightly compressed making it ideal for indoor or outdoor use. When left raw or treated properly Teak wood is not known to rot or retain moisture. Teak wood in its natural state is grey, silver, pewter in tone. Teak is one of the few timbers that can withstand the heat of the desert and will not readily catch fire.
Teak has a high degree of natural durability, is moderately hard and heavy with low stiffness and shock resistance but an excellent decay resistance and dimensional stability with a good acid resistance.
